LOLA OLIYIDE
Lola is Head of Development at Neal Street Productions, and has been there for over 4 years.
To her, Black History Month can be summarised with the word ‘presence’, and when asked what the month meant to her, says: “Personally I see it as something to be aware of and part of our collective consciousness every month as it’s integral to what it means to be British. But I recognise the importance of having a specific period of time that raises Black history and awareness for those who don’t live the experience or have knowledge of it.”
