Letter from the Editor
Everyone likes to tell you that Latin is a dead language. They may be *technically * right about that: Latin is no longer in everyday spoken use. However, the stories and pathos of ancient people are very much alive. They had ups and downs, fell in love, held grudges, feasted on their favorite foods, and played pranks on each other -- just as we do today. As you peruse this enlightening edition of the Vox Latina, you can find whispers from the ancient Romans in the food they ate, their literary myth tradition, their clothes, and more. Happy reading!
