Library Management Software
The information management system used at the National Public Library, Calliaqua Branch Library, the Georgetown Branch Library and Rose Hall Branch Library is Alexandria. Alexandria has recently been updated to a web-based version. This update allows persons to search the library’s catalogue as well as access their personal library account online.
The other branch libraries still issue books manually using the Brown System.
The way forward
The National Public Library, Archives and Documentation Centre will continue to implement and develop programmes and services that will benefit the citizens of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
