Spencer West
Spencer West was born January 7, 1981, in Rock springs, Wyoming, with a severe case of sarcal. At the age of 5 he had his legs from the pelvis amputated. Spencer went to Kenya, Spencer's words have encoraged millions to stand up to difficult times, face challenges, embrace change, and learn the tangible skills. He climbed Mount Kilimanjaro on his hands and in his wheelchair in May 2012 to raise funds for free the children. He completed an epic 300km (187 mile) trek on his hands and in his wheelchair for Edmonton to Calgary, Canada in May 2013.
