The school was constructed in a total of 28 days by a local construction team. As the classrooms were built on the same site as the pre-existing classrooms, the remaining foundations were left in place and extended by about 20m2 , and a layer of concrete added on top of the old floor to ensure the surface was level and smooth. A step was also incorporated along the front side of the foundation. Preparing the foudation took seven days to complete.

Upon arrival of the recycled plastic blocks from Finland, a day was spent unloading and sorting them. Another day and half was then spent preparing for the construction of the walls and roof, which involved laying out and cutting U-beams for the first layer of blocks, and assembling roof frames.

On Monday the 4th of October the wall construction began and was completed in three days. Over the next three days the roof was installed, along with the aluminium doors and windows. With the main structure now complete, the floor tiling, electrical cabling and ceiling installation began, which took around nine days, including the cladding of the open ends of the roof and installation of lights and power points in the classrooms.
