Have you ever wondered what might be some factors that make adolescents confuse themselves about sexual orientation? Believe it or not, but the things adolescents witness on tv, or social media do affect adolescents, especially the sexual content. Sexual content in the media affects adolescents the most because they belong in the most vulnerable age group.
According Joel W. Grube from the Western Journal of Medicine “Analyses of broadcast media content indicate that, on average, teenaged viewers see 143 incidents of sexual behavior on network television at prime time each week, with portrayals of three to four times as many sexual activities occurring between unmarried partners as between spouses.”
