The first morning, they went snorkeling in a spot called « Aquarium ». They hired a boat to go to the spot. After they jumped in, they saw so many fish, sharks and rays turning around in the wrecks !
In the afternoon, they went hiking in Mahina in a place called the “orgues basaltiques” in the valley of Tuauru. The hike took four hours. After two hours, they arrived in front of the “orgues basaltiques”. It was really beautiful. they learned that they were created by lava and this was why they were like that. During the hike, they saw flowers called “birds of paradise” and they crossed rivers. The group took numerous pictures with their teachers.
In the evening, they went to a local Tahitian restaurant. When they came in, the scent of fish and grilled chicken was so endearing that Francesco exclaimed “Mmmh… It’s smells so…
-Fishy ? ”, asked Emma, wrinkling her nose.
After having finished their main course (« taro » raw fish with coconut milk and chicken « fafa »),they were served a gelatinous porridge-like substance, that Moana named « poe ».
Francesco groaned with satisfaction, Moana found it descent enough, and Emma seemed to find it good.
When they woke up the next day, the teenagers ate their breakfast. Emma saw a poster saying "Tahitian dance class open to public ". They decided to go to the class. A few minutes later, they arrived on the motu next to the diving club. The teacher was very kind. She gave Emma a skirt named "pareo". The teacher taught dance steps to Emma and then to the boys. The dance steps were different for the boys and the girls. After 2 hours of repetition the teenagers could do a little dance. They were very happy but Francesco had sore legs.
Then they went jet skiing with their friends in Moorea.
« I am very excited to go jet skiing » said Moana
-Me too , said Francesco and Emma
5 minutes laters they saw dolphins !
« Wooooh,it is so fun »
On the last day ,they went surfing at ‘Ahonu."OMG the waves are so big! said Emma. After the session, they looked so happy because they really liked surfing.
_"Surf is very cool!" Said Moana.
_"Yes, it’s very cool!" Said Francesco and Emma.
Finally Emma, Francesco and Moana went to a weaving class , but Francesco was not happy because he didn't want to go so Emma was not happy with Francesco !
They weaved a big erasmus logo with pandanus leaves.
But unfortunately, the day of departure arrived.
The ERASMUS group leaves the hotel and arrives at the airport. They take their tickets and prepare to board the plane to their new destination, Italy.
