Interview with a Writer: Corporate
Limitation does not even enter into the language of Devin Parrish. In many ways she is an unstoppable force. Her credentials and accomplishments prove that variety is the spice of life. This is Parrish’s mantra and, coupled with raw talent, has led to a very fruitful career. Despite her busy schedule, she was willing to take the time to meet and share her story with me in greater detail.
To fully appreciate her story, you must begin at the beginning. It all started with an assignment from her third grade teacher. The short story she wrote impressed her teacher, who commented that it was both “good and interesting!” Parrish pinpoints this as the moment when she realized that she could write something that people would enjoy, pushing her inexorably down the path to become a writer.
