I highly recomend this documentary to learn more about an important issue taking place on Earth that is an example of a way of thinking that creates destruction. This community called the Uru-eu-wau-wau was uncontacted by modern people until the 1980's. When we talk about social permaculture, we must also consider who is speaking for the wellbeing of the Earth? We all have different perspectives and values and yet we all have to communicate in a way that facilitates life. Who speaks for the people who speak for the Earth? This can be such a complex topic and lead to intense conflicts. It may take many generations to address the mentality and other invisible structures that keep us from caring about the wellbeing of everyone around the planet and the Earth itself as much as we care for our own wellbeing.
