Simon knew it was already past the five-minute mark, but he was still hoping to meet his friend. But he couldn’t wait any longer, and he tried to call out his friend. Unfortunately, there was no response. He tried and tried, but nobody heard him. He still had some hope, so to pass the time, he went to check the other cave. At first, he didn’t see anything. It was just a normal cave. He was looking around for any signs of his friend. Maybe the two caves connect? But before he could even think for a split second, he saw something you would only see in horror movies. It was super tall and broad, maybe a monster or something that looked like one, but he didn’t want to look at it or be in that cave any longer. So he turned around and started to run to his friends.

He was terrified to look back. While running away from the terrifying monster, he slipped on the ice and hit his head on a blunt rock.

Meanwhile, William was trying to figure out the source of the strident sound. William stood up from a pile of snow that he had fallen on and started to search for any signs of a living creature. He shone his flashlight around the cave but could not see any signs of a way out. As he was about to start walking, he remembered about the tiny blue bag and the map. William looked at the map and found a space similar to the cave. The map showed the path out of the cave and up to the top of the mountain. ‘Hooray!’ he shouted to himself, the echo backing him up. He continued caving to the exit of the hollow while carefully listening for any more noises.

Once he left the narrow cavern, he felt weak, so he decided to take a break and grab a snack. William opened his backpack. As soon as his eyes saw the lunch box, his stomach started rumbling. He could not wait any longer, took the food, and ate it all in one go. During this short break, he gathered his thoughts and planned his further actions.

William packed his belongings and continued following the map. After exploring the cave, he suddenly saw the light coming out of it, but he did not want to leave his friends behind, so he went back in. His search for Simon ended because his flashlight died. As the last resort, William started blindly walking around the cave, trying to find an escape route.
