Jane was shocked by John‘s behaviour. On impulse, she slapped him. and asked,t was a loud slap. Then she ran to Jess and helped him stand up. Jane comforted Jess by hugging him and saying that everything would be all right. She quickly called the ambulance. When it arrived, she asked to drive with them. But first, she turned to John: "Why did you do that?" "It all happened so fast that everything is a blur now. I‘m truly sorry, I shouldn‘t have done that. It‘s just that jealousy took over", John replied. Jane couldn‘t stand him. She just glared John down, turned to the ambulance car, sat down, and didn‘t look back. Jane was holding Jess‘s hand the whole ride to the hospital. When they arrived, emergency workers took him to the ward. Jane couldn‘t enter, so she said her last words to her beloved. "I will wait for you forever and ever." With tears in her eyes, she left the hospital...
Jane decided to get home. It was a long walk. When she returned and charged her phone, she saw twenty missed calls and a few text messages from John. Jane got so angry that she replied with a text message, "I will never forgive you." Jane couldn‘t handle this drama, so she blocked him.
In the morning, she was greeted with flowers by John. He was well-dressed, his shoes were clean and shiny, and his hair was done, unlike Jane's. She looked like a whole mess. Jane was still very angry at him, so she slammed the door in his face. John barely managed to put his shoe in the doorway. "Please, just hear me out, I promise, I won‘t take long." "You have five minutes", whispered Jane, glaring at him from top to bottom. "All right, but first, take the flowers." "I‘m deeply sorry, Jane. I know what I did wrong. I‘m not going to ask to be more than friends." Jane took a deep breath. "I think I‘ll forgive you, I just need time." And with this, their conversation ended. John left, and Jane was deep in thought.
Three months have passed since then. Jess got released from the hospital. Jane decided to open her heart again and went on a date with him. Shortly after, they started dating. Jane has a good heart, so she forgave John, and they became friends. Jess still doesn‘t like John, and neither does John, but they won‘t let that break their relationship with Jane. The restaurant is still prosperous and successful to this day.
What a fairytale ending.
