Finally! Axel said, his voice filled with joy and relief. Rushing to the wooden door, he knocked ecstatically, and a smile was on his face as he waited for the owner. But only silence welcomed him. Confused, Axel knocked again, nothing but the wind whispering in the background. He sighed and pushed the heavy doors, surprisingly as if they were unlocked, left for wanderers like him to waltz in with curiosity. Upon his entrance, he was greeted with bright lanterns and candlelight, books scattered over the table in the corner of the room, and jars and vials filled with food, trinkets, and other-worldly objects.

But amidst the mess of papers and literature, there lay an open journal. It’s the creature... he quietly thought to himself, looking closer, observing every sentence, sketch, and piece of known information. The smell of hope swept through his senses, and a wide smile crept onto his face. A chance of going home was presented right in front of him.
