Suddenly, at one moment, when the volcano was ready to receive me into its dark hole, unknown to the human eye, I felt the gaze of Silas on me. I wanted to ask him what had happened, but he just kept looking at me. Without saying a word, we held hands, and I felt his warmth. I did not understand what was happening, but for some reason I did not feel alarmed. I felt only that moment, the moment when the pit slowly engulfed our bodies.

The interior of the volcano shimmered with red hues, and I did not think about anything but the bizarre patterns that the volcano itself outlined. Inside, a lot of fiery colors flashed, which were absorbed by the volcano. I would compare it to a fire that rises and falls. Although there was no gold and marble inside, as in a medieval palace, the atmosphere was childishly pleasant, though unfamiliar to me. There was nothing inside that could hook me, only dark walls and a ceiling that seemed to reach the sky surprised me.

At one point, Silas squeezed my hand a little tighter. I wanted to look at him, but I could not see his eyes. Our bodies slowly dissolved into the volcano. I was not entirely sure when I passed out, but it definitely happened.

I woke up. I was in some place that looked like a hospital. I looked around and saw Milas. I asked Milas, "Hi brother, what has happened?" He raised his eyebrows in surprise and replied, "The evacuation system worked as it should, but you were in a coma for a while."

I tried to reconstruct the course of events and remembered that Silas had been with me. I wondered where he was, and I asked Milas what had happened to him. Milas came up to me, and I noticed bewilderment on his face.

"He died six years ago. Have you forgotten?"

I did not answer. I could not collect my thoughts and just stared at the ceiling.
