Tom told me that he died in the car accident when he was only 15 years old, and his soul settled in his favorite toy – the old Rubik`s cube. The boy also mentioned that he liked playing the piano, and that is why the toy sometimes plays music now. “I was so happy when you took me from that garage. I am stuck in this toy, but I can see what`s happening around me when you take me with you everywhere.”

The kids stood stunned. The next moment, they heard the doorbell. It was Harold`s grandpa. Grandpa didn`t visit Harold that often, so the boy was really surprised when he noticed the Rubik`s cube in his hands. “Where did you get the toy from?” It was very clear that Grandpa got emotional. Silently and slowly, he started explaining that a long time ago, he took his parent`s car without permission and wanted to learn to drive but lost control of the car and caused an accident. Grandpa held his breath and continued: “I killed my best friend, and this Cube was his favorite toy.”

The voice from the cube spoke once again and called for Harold’s grandpa to get his attention. It did not take the elder long to realise what was going on and where the voice that called his name could be heard from. Harold’s grandpa couldn’t contain his emotions as he started to cry. While doing so, he kept apologizing for what happened on that heartbreaking day and admitted that after the accident, every night he would cry himself to sleep while wishing it was him, the one driving, who was supposed to die and not his dear friend.

Suddenly, a ghost-like entity, which looked a lot like an ordinary teenage boy, exited out of the special Rubik’s cube, then proceeded to slowly and carefully approach Harold’s grandpa to hug him. As he embraced him, the ‘ghost’ started to cry on the elder's shoulder.

After a short pause, the boy started to say words, which were only mumbled, into the hugged one's shoulder.

"It wasn’t your fault.

Don’t cry.

I’m here now.

Don’t blame yourself.

Let’s get to know each other again, shall we?"
