What do you think about the job opportunities in the department of ICT? What are your thoughts on the future of the ict ?
Our department is a very large area. People who will work in this department should add something to themselves every day, and you will encounter new information every day. We come across technology everywhere in our lives, and the infrastructure of this technology is software. For example, during this pandemic process, food comes to our homes through an application, and we are gradually transitioning to smart home projects. This is just the parts of technology that we see in daily life. For example, it is very important for our young people in the electrical-electronics and maritime departments of our school to know information and software and puts the person ahead in terms of job opportunities. Unmanned ships will come, artificial intelligence will penetrate our lives, and young people who know software knowledge will do this. The department is so suitable for development that it has sub-branches that can be studied a lot. Life is completely shifting to a part of technology and there is a serious gap in this part.
What are your thoughts on the academic opportunities of the ict? Master, doctorate etc.
Think of it as unmanned aerial vehicles, artificial intelligence, big data, all of these are sub-branches of computing. In biomedicine, even in the healthcare industry, people who know software will do a lot of work. In other words, even if you do not rise academically, you have the opportunity to find a job very comfortably with an internship. Before that, I think it is our job to fulfill the task of meeting the human needs of the sector in accordance with the purpose of vocational high schools. People who choose this department can already go to many departments in universities. Technology faculties; Forensic engineering, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, information systems engineering, these are just a few of the departments you can attend at the university. If you want, you can also be interested in academics when you graduate from university.
