We want to continue with the questions about you. Why did you choose this job?
Why did I choose this job? The answer to this question is as follows; I didn’t choose this job actually. My father chose. I don’t know if he chose it on purpose. In 2001-2002, the IT sector was just in the beginning stage. And it was very popular in the country. Everyone was going to vocational high school to become a computer teacher. There was also an exam to enter the computer department.
Everyone wants to be a computer teacher. Of course, our elders heard this from around. I was not a hardworking person. So I actually worked but I wouldn't push myself that much. Let's say because of my friends. After that, one day my father took my hand. Of course, I don't know what you say about the exam, but there was an entrance exam for high schools in our time. One green book, everyone used to study that book. We passed the exam, we couldn't get anywhere. They took our hand, we went to school enrollment. Consciously, we did not have a choice. He enrolled me in this department at Salihli Industrial Vocational High School. I enrolled to Anatolian Technical Department. I have enough points to enter that school. Then I studied preparation for a year. I did not notice much that year, but in the following years I realized that I also liked English in Prep. I improved my english. It has contributed to me a lot. Then I started seeing programming lessons when I was in first grade. I started seeing computer hardware. The industry was very new. No computer in anyone's home. There were internet cafes. Even touching computers was very precious. Schools were setting up computer labs but they were locking their doors. So I'm talking about things like this. I like programming at that time. Of course our teachers were very good. They gave us a lot of effort. God bless them. I owe them big-time. They made us love this job. Imagine you can do whatever you can ımagine in your mind with programming. And that's how I started. I realized that I love this job. Then I finished high school. Then I started the university. The university has been a milestone for me. Especially at the university, I still thank him so much, we had teachers who opened our horizons. For example, İzzet Pembeci. He graduated from ODTU. He worked abroad. He is a really good teacher. Everybody can be a normal programmer. But this teacher cause to be loved this job. In the university, we were coding until the morning. Then I started to learn mobile, web, desktop embedded systems. That’s all.
