RUKİYE AYGIN SARIBAŞ

Hello there. My name is Zümre. I am a student of Semiha- İrfan Çalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Child Development Education Department. I interviewed Rukiye Aygın, a special education teacher at the school where I did an internship for our Career Clubs project.

Which school did you graduate from?

Marmara University

How many years have you been teaching?

14 years

Why did you decide to be a teacher?

Teaching is actually one of the first professions every child wants to be in. I wanted so much in primary school. When I transferred to high school,

I decided that I wanted this department with the encouragement of my teachers.

What would you want to be if you didn't choose this profession?

I would like to work in the tourism sector.

What do you think are the difficulties of your chosen field?

The slow development of our students always decreases our motivation. But we must go on and not give up.

Special education is a field that needs to be studied with love and enthusiasm.
