Has your profession helped you in your private life?
Human Sciences are a lifestyle: because of them I always wonder about things I do, the people I know and the things that happen to me. About this, my training and my studies helped me a lot to deal with many situations in life, even the most complicated ones. Referring to a few more private aspects, however, all the theories I know of, could not do anything about the experiences I made, nothing prevented me from making mistakes.
As a student did you always have the desire to devote yourself to Humanistic subjects, or have you ever thought the scientific field was your piece of cake?
No, absolutely not. I was very interested in Humanities, and this was certainly due to the fact that, since I was a child, all my teachers kept telling me I Had a penchant for the Humanities. They were the ones in which I got the highest grades. In short, I gladly and easily studied these subjects.
Have you ever regretted the choice you made of not taking the history exam and therefore not being able to teach philosophy and history?
I repented because I did not have the courage to take the History exam, but I get on very well with the Humanities and this leads me to be proud of my choice. Although, the fact of not having taken the History exam and therefore not having taken the qualification to teach Philosophy and History, was like a lost train but right now I am still happy to teach Human Sciences since I like them. In fact, these subjects give me a broader vision of some concepts that philosophy gave only in part.
