What do you like the most about your Job?

First of all it is a work related to aesthetics. It is a very creative work that requires imagination and technical knowledge. You try to create something beautiful that is also functional. Also in every project you build you leave your personal mark.

What are the difficulties of this job?

When undertaking a project, the first thing to keep in mind is the safety of all who will use it. It is therefore a great responsibility. You also always have the economy as a competitive factor and you have to combine them with a number of other factors, such as customer requirements and various building constraints. So you have to thinκ and act flexibly.

What were the difficulties you faced in university education?

During my studies, no, nothing was particularly difficult for me. Τhe difficulties

come later, in the practice of the profession. Because every project is a problem in which you are called to find the best possible solution.

What would you recommend to those who want to progress in this profession?

I would strongly advise them to follow it because it is a very demanding job but also very creative. Νot to give up, not to be disappointed, to be persistent and faithful to themselves. I would also advise them to choose their partners carefully because it is a collective job.

What is your teaching area?

Αs a civil engineer at school I teach architectural drawing, computer drawing, construction and geoinformatics.
