Summer is here and the writing world is blooming with prizes, events and new signings. The British Book Awards has celebrated the best in books, The Barbellion Prize is one of many competitions that has opened for entries, The Curae Prize, ADCI Prize and Adrien Prize have announced their winners, and whether you're writing, promoting or imagining a book, there are opportunities galore to pursue - if not always the energy to pursue them.

We're big fans of nature at Ciadish, whether getting outdoors, reading nature poetry, making nature art, watching wildlife webcams or writing a nature journal. Nature's inspired so many writers and artists over the years that it seems only fitting to appreciate it (and get free inspiration). Victoria Bennett celebrates nature in her much-lauded book, All My Wild Mothers, and Polly Atkin shares insight into her frequently nature-inspired poetry and recent memoir, Some of Us Just Fall.

We've also interviewed alexa dexa about their sound-inspired Sacrosanct Oracle//Composition Deck.

Add in continuing sensory story insight from Joanna Grace, plus book news, competitions and opportunities for support, and I hope you enjoy issue four of Ciadish.

Wishing you writing success, hope, the support you need and a joyful Summer.
