Played important role in fights for Ilovaysk, when he was the one to hear Ukrainian neo-Nazi "Donbas" battalion speaking in distance "I can't see them!". Thanks to that he had noticed them, part of militia platoon alone managed to defeat group of 50 "Donbas" troopers, who gathered in one spot, by throwing grenades at them.
Later he was badly injured in his spine: shot from APC cannon. Now is undergoing rehabilitation and preparing for the wedding.
