2 minutes to make a difference. We were tasked to do a act of kindness to raise an awareneness. We decided to raise awareness for water scarces. We did a bake sale at our school, and sold baked goods! Emily and I (the two girls on the left side) baked 50 oreo truffles, 16 cupcake cones, and 16 mini cupcakes. Kyla and Nico (the boy and girl closest to the middle) baked 250 meringues. We sold 10 pieces of meringues for $1, a bag of 3 oreo trufles for $0.75, cupcake cones for $1 and mini cupcakes for $0.50. We raised $36.89 and donated it to The Water Project. I thought this bake sale was fun, and a good cause. Its a fun way to raise awareness and earn mney for a cause. At first it was hard to get people to come, because we werent used to advertising but were, like i said, raise about $36.89. It was an enjoyable experience.
