Cinda Cianelli

Cinda Cianelli has been working

as a Conversation Assistant in Condesa Eylo School since October 1, 2021 helping us to improve our English Language. The 3rd grade students of ESO of the bilingual program decided to make an interview in order to know more about her life. Cinda was born in the Midwest of USA, but is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. Here are some questions we asked her for our magazine.

Do you like living in Las Vegas? What do you like the most?

I love living in Las Vegas! There is no place like it anywhere else in the USA. I like that there is always something to do or explore and that everything is open 24-hours, seven days a week.

Did you like the place where you lived?

Yes, I absolutely loved Southern Highlands Community in which I lived. It is on a golf course with many very large parks, hiking areas, two very large hotel-casinos, restaurants shopping malls, and more.

What did you use to do in your free time there?

I would ride my stunt motorcycle around the city and on the Las Vegas Strip. I also spent a lot of time laying on the beach at Lake Mead and flew my kites in the Veteran´s Memorial Park in Boulder City, Nevada.

What three places in Las Vegas would you recommend visiting?

The Strip (at night), Fremont Street (at night), and the “In and Out Restaurant” (Best Hamburgers in the state of Nevada).

Are there many famous people in Las Vegas?

Yes, there are many and sometimes I see them at an event, on the streets, in the casinos, at the airport and even at restaurants.

When you lived in Las Vegas, did you experience anything paranormal?

Yes, all the time and everywhere I have lived, all of my life, even here. Jajajaja I have also seen many UFOs in Las Vegas, and so did many other people that lived there.

What thing do you miss most in Las Vegas?

The all-you-can-eat Sushi Bars. Lol

Do you have pets? No. However, I have a little stuffed doggie that has been traveling with me for over 11 years now : )

You are now living in Spain, so you might have learned some words in Spanish, which is your favorite word? What was the first word (besides the basic vocabulary: hola, adios, etc…) that you learned?

My favorite word is “Pregunta” : ) First real learned word, outside of the basic words was “Escucha” : )
