RC: Is death culture a big part of Homosurrealism?

JS: To me it is.

RC: Is Homosurrealism apolitical?

JS: No. It is political. I am a rebel

at heart and so I react quickly to just about

everything. Homophobia is everywhere. So whenever you hear somebody say "Fag" you have

the opportunity to be political and revolutionary.

RC: Is music important to Homosurrealism?

JS: Definitely. The first show we did in NYC had a sound track of Brian Eno music. The shows in L.A. featured our house band, A Boy Named Pony. And of course Bobby Beausoleil did the soundtrack for Lucifer Rising. I also promote Magnetic Fields.
