close my eyes, let me see

{Navami M.}

Dear me

(i  am your dear)

let my eyes slowly fade

gently press the lids closed, eyelashes

dripping shadows past my cheeks, by candle

light we see

wax congealing, reborn on the candelabra

after it melts, so slow

time never passes

midnight burns our eyes with black like

the grim reapers, will come to

take me soon, so won’t you open your eyes

i'm hungry so i want food

footsteps echo down the steps but who

are you in?my room slowly creeping like blackblood on the wall knife

in your hand and my blood on the handle we are gripping like

a lifeline, stick it in our chest, watch

me fly awake, walk awake, so

we were beautiful, laughing in our dreams, laugh

awake, stare at the empty wall,

gone, we were gone

do you know what we

are ?

we  are  you

and you and  i

we go together like night and dark,

i cannot close my eyes

you, like  the word that had once existed

Homeostasis, steady regulation,

the normalcy of sleep,
