Learning Chinese has actually been extremely fun, at first I just thought that we would be learning the language. I soon realized that we were not just learning the language, but exploring the culture. I find myself understanding little bits of people's conversations and when I am watching a movie and a commercial comes on, I find myself understanding a little bit of what they are saying. I plan to continue to learn Chinese and maybe one day I will visit China myself, I have heard it is beautiful. One of the best things that I like about Chinese is that I get to learn about the culture. There are some things which are very similar to the U.S. and English, but there are also things that are completely different. The holidays and stories are some of my favorite topics to learn about. - Zoe
The thing that makes learning this language fun is that we sometimes do cool projects such as iBook and we also practice the language on Nearpod where we sometimes play match games. I am currently using this language to sometimes talk to my Chinese friends on discord with pinyin, and it feels good when they know what you are trying to say. I plan to use this language to: communicate better with my friends in Chinese, be able to read a bit of Chinese in public places. - Govind
Learning Chinese is fun because its like learning something completely new and able to speak a new language. I am using this language currently by constantly using it for class and using it to teach some friends some words too. I plan to use this in the future for business maybe. I like learning the pinyin and the pinyin words because it's like Chinese and English combined. - Grady
