Students in class are learning how to use Chopsticks. One way teachers teach students to use chopsticks is to play games with them, by having students attempt to pick up beans, beads, or other objects, before trying to pick up rice.

Wo xihuan - means ‘to like’ - students connecting remotely used the photos and the provided Chinese characters with PinYin to show the teacher whether they liked or disliked those items. Students demonstrated their pronunciation as well as their likes and dislikes through this remote, interactive activity. These were 4th grade students.
