Then cities started to ban Boomboxes from public places, which made them less acceptable on city streets as time progressed. As this was happening, the 90s walkman took over the platform and everybody lost interest in Boomboxes.
But just like older technologies, the Boombox has become an outdated souvenir but a lot of people like the aesthetics that it has. There are some modern Boomboxes that people buy because of some reminiscences. Some probably just wanted to know what it was like to have Boomboxes. These modern Boomboxes have nowadays technology, like Bluetooth connections. Plus old technologies that I have mentioned before.
