Interviews
Students learned to interview subjects using a multistep process including research, setting up an interview, taking notes and writing. They learned the importance of maintaining professionalism throughout the process and treating the subject with the utmost respect. Interviewing, as the students discovered, is much harder than simply asking someone a set of questions. The Journalism class did a fantastic job of acquiring this skill and using the results in their articles or as a stand along piece.
