Back 2 School Bash
Our inaugural Back 2 School Bash was a smashing success! Everyone attended and the overall opinion was a fun time enjoyed by all. Our Journalism students attended as reporters who were required to “cover” the event for our publication. Students used a variety of skills to interact with the community including note taking, interviewing and photography. It's clear from their work that they were actively engaged!
School Topics
For our school topics segment, students in our Journalism class research a school related topic and learned to apply an unbiased reporting voice. Students were required to research, interview, write and edit their own segments for a school appropriate topic of their choice. The Journalism students jumped into the assignment with gusto and their writing shows!
