It was 5 pm and we finally reached the Dytiatki control post. We had been waiting for 2 hours until our group was allowed to go through the customs. At least we were officially in Chernobyl! That region was expected to remain uninhabitable for thousands of years and we managed to get there. It seemed that time had stopped and we couldn't say a word. Blocks of flats
