This made her look like a ghost, but she wasn‘t. At least that‘s what she thought. 

When she returned home, her mother wasn’t there. She was tired of everything - her thoughts, her voice, even herself. She didn’t understand what was going on, who she was, or why things were going the way they were. When she laid down on the bed, she fell asleep quickly, but the sleep was unpleasant. She had one nightmare after another, wishing and hoping that she would finally wake up. She saw everyone, but they didn't see her. No one saw her, not even her mom. She was invisible, like ... a ghost. In real life, she always went unnoticed by others and did not attract attention, but this time in the dream everything was different. This time, other people literally did not see her.  

When she woke up, she couldn’t tell if it was a dream or reality. That’s when she realized that being invisible is better than being visible but unnoticed and ignored. Perhaps that was her destiny.
