peculiar doubts in me and provokes me to reflect upon myself, my past and my future.

The shadows of naked towering trees were getting longer and longer. The dark version of me on the ground could not stay idle too. It seemed as if they were mischievously competing. Yet neither of them was willing to surrender. As I was walking down the street, for a split second, I felt almost as big as the trees themselves.

My hands got cold enough for me to notice, and I tried to warm up by rubbing them together and blowing air from my mouth. This effort of mine was futile as my hands were not getting any warmer, and the cold wind kept biting my skin. I had to quicken my pace since it was unbearable, and I could not endure it any longer.

I was convinced I would never be able to reach my destination, as, despite my efforts, I did not seem to get any closer. Maybe I got lost? Maybe, I am not walking
