There was a beat of oppressive silence. "Who... are you?" Luke asked with a confused lilt in his voice. The buff man looked at them for a second his bald head shining ominously before answering, "Saitama" in a bland voice. He looked kind of dead inside. Thanks for retrieving my brother's teddy bear I guess. "He started to pick at his ear while bending down to the small boy next to him, rubbing his dark neatly cut hair. Anna and Luke turned to each other when they heard Wyatt's booming voice call out that they had passed the level. With a dramatic gust of wind, they were on to the next challenge.

When they blinked open their eyes again they came face to face with a giant skateboard course. The sky was dark, and they could see some stars twinkling despite the light pollution that came from the fixtures lighting up the skating course. It looked like it had been a quarry of some sort; rocks and other debris were on the track itself, and it didn’t look like it was safe to skate on. Luke and Anna still saw numerous skaters of all ages skating down particularly two boys with red and blue hair, laughing loudly, looking like they were having the time of their lives. The two high school students exchanged glances unsure of what they were supposed to be doing until the speakers scattered around them came to life. Everyone gets off the course! We have two new participants who will beef tonight. "Give a warm welcome to Luke and Anna!" Both of them spun their heads wildly and there were people cheering for them.

They were hastily ushered to what seemed to be the start of the course, which was a hill curving downwards, and given 2 skateboards. Luke turned to her and whispered, "I think they want us to race." His eyes were wide, and it looked like he was semi-excited about going down into the death trap. Anna looked at him reluctantly as she gathered her nerves. She was not going to let Luke know she was afraid. A scantily dressed woman counted them down and before she knew it Luke was speeding down while Anna was left to try and fail to get on the skateboard without falling off. There were eyes watching her. She didn’t know if it was with pity or amusement. By the time Luke noticed that
