It was a blissful Friday morning. The first period had just ended and a 20-minute break started. Kids ran outside, but Anna decided to stay. Even though sun rays were illuminating the classroom, the girl still felt cold and alone. Anna checked if there was any water left in the kettle. It seemed enough. Suddenly the class door creaked:

“Anna Styles! Where did your style go? Oh wait, you didn’t even have one to begin with!” her classmate said laughing.

Anna looked at the boy, her eyebrows pulled together and lips tightened.

“What’s up with that funny face you're making, a wannabe comedian?” the boy asked playfully.

“Luke, would you kindly shut up.”

“Oh wow, can’t even joke around here!” Luke replied angrily.

“Your constant jokes about my appearance aren't funny! Mind your style!”

“Why are you so sensitive?! You’d better learn to take criticism!” Luke shouted.

As Anna wanted to shout back, the kettle made a noise. She turned it off.

“There are still ten minutes left, take your anger with you and get out instead of making pointless assumptions about me.”

Anna made some tea. She could still feel Luke’s presence, his growing anger. The other classmates started coming back, they were giving them confused looks trying to figure out what was happening.
