As they approached the members, they noticed that the tribe was in the middle of performing a ritual - sacrificing a goose. They waited until they had finished their ritual and went up to them. The two men quickly spotted the leader of the tribe and asked if he could help treat his wife's disease. The Leader agreed and sent his fellow tribemates to get the cure. The men jumped out in excitement thinking their quest would be finished soon. They eventually got the remedy they needed and headed back to the hospital where Anna was waiting. The expedition back was longer and even more exhausting, but at least they had the cure so they were joyful. As they approached Anna laying on the bed dull and lifeless waiting for the cure, their hearts shattered seeing her like this. John grabbed the bottle and forcefully fed his wife the medicine she needed. As the hours went by Anna was starting to feel better and better…
After one restless night, the men woke up with aching backs and sore legs but they sucked it up and continued their journey. After wandering in the forest for a couple of hours they eventually saw a symbol of the Sun carved into an old tree and they knew they were getting closer. Thankfully, the restless hope was enough to finish their trip and find the tribe.Â
