Roger made his way towards the middle of the cart and sat down. Soon Harold followed suit and sat across the sullen-looking man. Harold put his suitcase beside him and looked out the window, while Roger blankly stared at the floor. For about 10 minutes dead silence reigned in the rusty cart. In order to get rid of the eerie atmosphere, Harold decided to strike up a conversation with Roger. But Roger wasn’t interested in one, so he didn’t spend much effort in replying to the young man. Such behaviour made Harold visibly upset.

‘Where are you heading?’ Harold asks while hoping to finally make a breakthrough. 

‘New York.’ quickly replies Roger.
