creatures saw someone who, up to this moment, was only visible to the young prince. There were no questions left to ask and no words left to speak, everybody knew that the one before their eyes is no other but Jerrick.
All of the gnomes went down memory lane about the horrifying events that had taken place in the mountain where they used to live prior to the dragon’s attack. They remembered the boy that had been weakened by his mother's magic so much that he could barely stand on his feet when he came to the Mountain Kingdom to be treated. Anthea trusted the gnomes to heal the boy and keep him safe, but no one saw the dragon's attack coming. As gnomes were trying to protect Jerrick, the dragon injured the defenceless boy taking away his life.
Upon having these flashbacks, the gnomes explained to Aldrich that they could see Jerrick, too, and that he was someone important to them. They asked if he’s in any way related to Jerrick and they were shocked to find out that Prince Aldrich is none other than the great-grandson of Anthea the III's unloved daughter whom she kept hidden before marrying her off. The magical beings unanimously decided to take the prince to the king of all gnomes.
