It was a bright summer day when the king assigned a duty to the prince. Before he could ascend to the throne, the young prince had to prove his worth. Aldrich was tasked to slay the ancient ice-breathing dragon; the only weapon in his hand was a flimsy metal sword. Aldrich also had his trusty companion Jerrick, whom he confided in and conveyed his worry about that feat. The prince's father had advised him to find his actual power because a weapon was merely a tool for false comfort.  

Both of them set out on a mysterious and menacing adventure. Jerrick was attempting to keep the prince focused on the route ahead when had he noticed the paths divide into two and from each one quiet, little footsteps could be heard, someone or something was heading towards them, and it sounded like danger.  

  Soon enough they found out that the little footsteps belonged to the gnomes who were extremely angry that the prince had set foot on their land. As they were coming closer and closer, Aldrich’s heart started pounding louder than the thunder itself. He came to a realization, “They will attack”. He braced himself for the impact when the gnomes suddenly stopped and lowered their weapons. The little
