Aloe Vera leaf should be cut at the base and Aloin, a yellow compound that is toxic, should be drained. The top and the serrated edges are then cut and soaked for about 30 mins in water to remove Aloin. It can then be peeled completely and the gel washed again to remove the residual Aloin and made into aloe vera juice by adding water to it in equal portions and blending in a food processor. The gel can be directly applied to the skin and scalp.

However, just using aloe vera juice or applying aloe vera cannot be the only solution to all these problems. If the diet is not changed to a natural diet like DIP diet, just using aloevera will not be a permanent solution.
