MIDDLE SCHOOL

Message

MS Principal

Over the last couple of months in Middle School we have returned to a sense of normality. With the removal of masks and also with the general easing of Covid restrictions we have been able to reinstate some of our events and activities that enhance the students MS experience. For example, students have been actively involved in the Mother Tongue, Host country and Pride activities, and have effectively collaborated and worked with a range of peers. Grade 6 & 7 students were also involved in an arts exhibition, which was a fantastic celebration of students' art work, drama and music performances. Also, for their final IMYC entry points, all MS students went on a Fieldtrip (the first one in over 2 years!) Grade 6 visited the Ta Qali craft village for a hand-on experience for their Creativity Big Idea; Grade 7 completed a range of activities from Maths to Art to Geography in Mdina for their Big Idea of Curiosity; and Grade 8 engaged in a Beach Clean-up to launch Big Idea of Community. It was wonderful to see all MS students take part, as these activities truly enhance students' learning, and we are looking forward to being able to increase the off campus curriculum opportunities next year.
