Taking the lead from Verdala's monthly themes, the Elementary and Secondary libraries have set up a monthly display showcasing related titles available for borrowing.

October's theme was Neurodiversity and students were encouraged to borrow books that celebrate our differences. Here are some examples of library books that can be found through the library catalogue:

What does it mean to have Dyslexia?

I know someone with Dyslexia.

The girl who thought in pictures.

What does it mean to have ADHD?

All cats have Asperger Syndrome.

What does it mean to have autism?

November's theme is Anti-bullying/being kind to others. We have compiled and shared a list of related titles - both fiction and non-fiction - with the teachers and students.

Halloween season is upon us once more. The Elementary library has gone full out with decorations. In Secondary we have taken the opportunity to highlight the vast selection of horror books available for borrowing.
