3. KGK Pumpkin Investigation
In our countdown to Halloween, we had a Pumpkin Investigation in Kindergarten! We each got a pumpkin and had a chance to examine and conduct experiments to learn more about it! We looked at how many cubes tall it was, how many lines it had, we used descriptions to describe it (i.e. big, medium, or small, round or tall, rough or smooth, etc.), we predicted if it would sink or float, how far around the pumpkin was with string, and how many steps it was when we rolled it! The kids had a lot of fun exploring with their pumpkins!
