Community Diversity Festival
As reported in previous issues, our second annual Community Diversity Festival
will be held on Saturday 27 August this year.
There will also be further celebrations of community diversity, particularly as
reflected in our Stepping Stones For Life Friday Activities and Ross Walker
Lodge, the following day at our morning worship.
It is expected that most, if not all, of the participants from last year will join in
again, along with some new community groups. Meg’s Toybox, the ACT Taoist
Tai Chi Society, Canwalk, and the Heart Foundation have already committed to
being involved. A few buskers have been lined up to entertain visitors outdoors.
This year also will see the addition of a display of art, craft and photography in
the large hall by members of the congregation - Brian Rope, Robin Bennett,
Alison Allen and Brian Stewart - plus members of the Stepping Stones For Life
Friday Art Group.
