Recent events The Coronation of HM King Tupou VI took place on 4 July 2015 in Centenary Free Wesleyan Church, Nuku’alofa. The actual coronation was performed by Rev Dr D’Arcy Wood, a former UCA President and former Minister at Canberra City UCA. Former General Secretary NSW/ACT Synod and one of St Margaret’s past Ministers, Rev Paul Swadling. Paul and his wife Janet have been in Tonga since 21 April doing do some HR work for the Education Department of the Free Wesleyan Church ). They were able to view the event from the verandah of the church. The people standing (L to R) are Rev Dr 'Ahio, FWC President, Rev Dr Tevita Havea, FWC Gen Secretary & Rev Dr D'Arcy Wood. The sermon at the Service of Thanksgiving on 5 July was delivered by Rev Professor Andrew Dutney, UCA President. Paul Swadling says Andrew preached a really good sermon on the Future of Evangelism (the theme of the Free Wesleyan Church Conference). St Margaret's News 8 July 2015
