At the start of COVID 19 the school closed from March to September, it was the first time for all of us to try distance learning. It was difficult since people weren’t used to it and we had a lot of difficulties. After the mid-term break last year school rearranged the timetable and it was more organized. School reopened when I became a grade 9 student. I went to school on campus for about 2 months and then went back into distance learning mode because of the growing cases and the embassy’s restrictions. There were only 2 or 3 classes that offered online lessons for distance learning students so I had to study individually and it was an uneasy period of time. Luckily, more classes were able to make me connect through zoom later and I could get more involved with the class.

The cases are getting lower in Malta because of the vaccination and close down. I have been mostly staying in my house for the whole year but in summer I can finally travel! Hopefully I will be able to return to campus in grade 10.
