Once I found my vintage Swarovski crystal stash my original idea for these amazing Jasper teardrops changed. The patina and glow on these 24kt gold coated crystals look so awesome with the stones. So then it was a matter of deciding what seed bead colors to pick. The teardrops are Orbicular Rhyolite Bird's Eye Jasper set intarsia style into obsidian. They are gorgeous and beautifully done.

My favorite lapidary artist, Gary B Wilson, created the carved acorn in my woodland necklace from Favosite Coral, an extinct genus of tabulate coral. I've given the sterling silver chain a patina to give it some depth. I'm beginning to really like simply beautiful and this is an example. The stone is so beautifully carved it is the only focal. It is 5/8 inch wide at the cap and 7/8 inch long.
