DivKid's Month Of Modular Issue #5 February 2016 | Page 10

So let’s get stuck into this months set of videos from me. First up we’ve got the Varigate 4 module from Malekko. It’s a powerful 8 step gate sequencer with variable gate length, four channels all with variable step length, repeats / ratchets per step and delay for creating custom swing and groove patterns. Watch the video to the right of click HERE to head to my YouTube channel.

Next up is the FX6 module from Flame. It’s a great cheap and small FX module that runs on the same FV-1 DSP chip as modules such as the TipTop Audio Z-DSP. To be honest I find Flame to be a funny company that seem to keep themselves in the background for some reason. They make some great modules so don’t let their lack of web presence put you off.

The third and final overview video to

share with you this month is for the

awesome Black Market Modular

Colour Palette. This is an adapted

module based on the DIYRE API 500

series module that allows the user to

choose which cards known as colour

CVs. In this first video I’ve gone

through the two cards from Black

Market Modular. Both Tweet the high

pass filter and Wood the low pass filter. As well as run down the feautres. In the not too distant future I’ll have videos for the WMD cards and also the ZVEX Fuzzolo. Click HERE for the video on YouTube.

Better late than never here’s a video of Bitloader giving us all a little acid workout live from Ross Lamond’s Bells N Whistles Crackles N Pops event from November. Bitloader is Nina and Zoe from Transistor Sound Labs that make the awesome Stepper Acid sequencer. Click HERE to watch on YouTube.
